Home Building
I get a sense of real accomplishment when I look back at the home I built. My previous home was a larger split-level on 1 acre and I served as the general contractor for the construction. I was responsible for finding subcontractors and working with them to build the home. Once the shell was complete, my father and I completed the interior including all the electrical, plumbing, kitchen, flooring and trim. When I look back at that time, I am thankful for the time I had to spend with my father and for the real sense of accomplishment we both gained.
Mission Work
I am very proud of the time I spent in Mississippi working with the Katrina Relief effort. I spent a week working on houses that had been damaged by the high water and winds. We worked to paint homes, repair soffit and fascia and replaces roofs
My Faith
Finally, but most importantly, I am committed to my faith. While my life has not been easy, I have trusted in my faith to pull me through and I am confident, He will continue to allow me to grow towards perfection.
I have spent 32 hours in Seminary classes in an effort to deepen my knowledge and commitment to the church. These classes have ranged from church history, music in worship and even technology in worship. These classes have served me well in my role as Director of Technical Ministries.
